Mashel Law Files Race Discrimination Lawsuit
This past week Mashel Law filed a race discrimination case in the New Jersey Superior Court in Burlington County against Willingboro Township on behalf of two of its public works employees. The lawsuit brought under New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination alleges that our clients, two African American males, were the victims of severe and persistent racism which denied them their legal right to a safe and non-hostile work environment; racism ignored by the Township for far too long.
We are also proud to announce that Stephan T. Mashel, Esquire has renewed his membership in the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety & Health (COSH). COSH is a non-profit organization of Petitioners’ Attorneys, Doctors and Unions working together to protect the rights of injured workers throughout New Jersey. Likewise, Mr. Mashel and Amy C. Blanchard, Esquire of Mashel Law have renewed their memberships in the National Employment Lawyers Association of New Jersey (NELA-NJ) for which Mr. Valenzano serves as a Board Member. NELA- NJ is a membership association of plaintiff employment attorneys advocating for equality and justice in the workplace.
